Process service in Denver

Denver is at the center of our service area. A standard serve is $89 per party, with the first attempt within 3 business days and four attempts over ten days. Rush is $149, with the first attempt within 24 hours. Same day is $219 when the order and documents reach us by 11:00 am, and same-day service is easiest to deliver in Denver because the drive is short.

Court runs are $55 next day and $85 same day when ordered by 1:00 pm, plus clerk fees at cost, and $25 for each additional courthouse on the same trip.

ZIP codes that cross county lines

Many ZIP codes along Denver’s western and northern edges are shared. 80212, 80214, 80227 and 80235 are in Denver and Jefferson. 80216 and 80221 are in Denver and Adams. 80222, 80231 and 80246 are in Denver and Arapahoe. 80123 covers parts of Denver, Arapahoe and Jefferson.

The order form asks you to confirm the county, and the county you confirm always takes priority over our lookup, so the proof names the correct county.

High-rises and secured buildings

Downtown towers and newer apartment buildings often have front desks that do not allow visitors past the lobby. This is common and does not end the attempt, but it changes what the attempt involves: we record who we spoke with, what we were told, and when.

If you know a unit number, a work schedule, a vehicle or a second address, please include it in the order instructions. Details like these can reduce the number of attempts needed.

Evictions and writs

We do not serve evictions: no demands for compliance or possession, no eviction summonses and complaints, and no writs of restitution. If you need one of those served, please use another process server.

We do serve protection and restraining orders and other writs, such as writs of garnishment. Tell us the deadline you are working to and we will tell you whether the tier you selected can meet it. We cannot advise you on the deadline itself or on what the writ requires; please ask an attorney or the court.

We are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice. Questions about which court to use, which deadline applies, or whether service was sufficient should go to an attorney or the court’s self-help staff.

Denver is inside our service area, so the rate card applies with no mileage. Same-day service is most practical here because the drive is shortest.
